Hello All,
What a great weekend many of us had at the Spa Knit Spin. Lots of networking for the Frolic and we saw this year’s Frolic T-Shirts created by the Grant’s ………..very beautiful with great color choices. We will all want one maybe two !
Nancy, Deb Wooley and I picked a color called ‘ Texas Orange’ and a second color that was a faded pine- green very natural looking. Those are the colors we thought would capture your attention. We will see what the rest of the committee members pick. It will be great to get them on the website because I believe they would sell online or pre-order (if that is something we are going to do) ?
Also, I gave about 10 plus rack cards to each vendor ( at NETA ) with an explanation of where we need them placed in their towns. All vendors that I spoke with are also applying for space at the Frolic and were very interested in helping get the word out through their farm store or knitting shop. Lots of positive feedback from most of the vendors with the exception of a few who are worried about the ‘ required Insurance’ for vendors. It seems some returning vendors are a little nervous because their insurance companies are not able to help them. I know Nancy has been right on top of this situation, so I am confident that it will work out for the vendors concerned.
It was exciting to see the shirts and many familiar faces talking about the upcoming spring festivals.
Also, our fearless past committee chair ~ Terry Beal and Phillipe were browsing on Sunday, doing well and of course asking about the Frolic and the Llama Drill team………..making sure we keep its time slot at 3:00 !! ( :
Great to see many of you especially knowing that if this winter ever ends we will all be Frolicking on June 5, 6 & 7.
Michelle
